Eastern Phoebe

Observed September 30, 2008

I saw a bird flying in an erratic, twitchy pattern. The day was overcast so lighting made identification difficult. When it finally landed, I trained the binoculars on it and thought I saw one of these.  I’m not sure if it was an Eastern Phoebe but it was the closest match to any bird in the book.  This is the first time I’ve seen one. So many birds, so little time…
