Lau Kar Leung is an opera performer and monkey style kung fu master who has too much to drink and scammed into believing he has slept with a pimp/brothel owner’s wife. As punishment his sister is forced to marry the pimp and Lau submits to having his hands beaten to useless bloody pulp. He goes into hiding. A petty thief befriends Lau. The thief begs Lau to train him and Lau refuses until one day near death after being beaten by a gang working for the pimp, Lau takes on the thief as a student. Lau and the thief go on to exact revenge on the gang and the pimp.
